Now keep in mind that I have not played online poker for money since 2005 when I just could not take some things anymore.  As of late, there have been a lot of accusations of poker not being “honest”. Whether it is or is not or if you think that it is or it is not; I have something for you to ponder…

Would you go play at a place where you have no idea who you are playing against, and the dealer is behind a curtain and you can not see the cards being shuffled. Would you play there?

  1. You bring up a good point, and something I was thinking about today… What about all the automatic shuffling machines that are in the live cardrooms nowadays. The dealer puts the deck in and poof it comes out ’shuffled’. If you try to find any information on these machines online you’ll find out information on them is very tightly protected by the companies that make them. So you have the same situation live where the cards are being shuffled out of your sight by a machine that could easily manipulate the card order however it wanted.
