Phil Ivey filed a lawsuit against Tiltware LLC

On Monday Night, Phil Ivey dropped a bombshell on the world of poker, the World Series of Poker; but most of all on Tiltware LLC. Ivey is boycotting and is not playing in the 2011 World Series of Poker. He also filed a lawsuit against Tiltware LLC. Tiltware is the marketing & software company for Full Tilt Poker. Ivey is suing for injunctive relief, declaratory relief, and damages. The first cause of action, injunctive relief, is focused on Ivey’s non-compete contract and making in unenforceable. In the second cause of action, breach of contract, it says the Plaintiff (Ivey) has been damaged by lost business opportunity, lost income, and damage to his personal and professional reputation all in an amount that exceeds $150,000,000. Here is the full lawsuit of Phil Ivey against Titlware LLC that was filed on June 1, 2011 at 8:37am in the District Court of Clark County, Nevada.
